Day 1 – Franschhoek

_________________________________________________

Franschhoek is the food and wine heartland of South Africa.

After your arrival in Cape Town, we will transfer you to Franschhoek in a special luxury vehicle. And here you will taste your first South Africa wine at Boekenhoutskloof.

You will also have an interesting Gourmet Lunch. Stay for the night at a 4 star, “Best of Wine Tourism” award winning hotel.

Day 2 – Wine Cellars

_________________________________________________

Visit the House of JC le Roux, Louisvale, Closlverne, and Sylvanvale and de Leeuwenjagt. All these constitute many of the best wine cellars in South Africa. Learn about the wines and let your taste buds be tantalized as you taste the wines here. And then, a gourmet lunch.

Day 3 – Montague

You will now proceed to Montague in your luxury vehicle. Here we’ll take you to two famous wine estates. You will also have lunch at at a winery restaurant. Have exactly what goes well with the wine at the restaurant….

Spend the night at your 4 star luxury hotel.

Day 4 – Food and Adventure!

This day will be even more interesting.

First you will make a tractor-trailer trip on the Langeberg mountain. Then, you will taste traditional Potjiekos. Potjiekos is special South African stew cooked in a three-legged pot.

Retire to your 4 star hotel at night.

Day 5 – Hermanus

Today we’ll disgress a bit and say “hi” to the whales at Hermanus. Hermanus has the world’s only whale crier – meaning wa person who announces the sighting of whales by sounding a horn!

And we’ll also visit a wine estate nearby.

Day 6 – Cape Peninsula

You will tour the wonders of the Cape Peninsula like the Penguins of Boulders Bay, the Seals of seal island and the point where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet!

Then you will have an exotic sea food lunch and visit a wine estate to savour some pre-supper wines…

Day 7 – Robben Island

________________________________________________

Robben Island is the place where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned fopr years. Let a prisoner take you around and show you the very cell where he was locked in. Then relax for a while at Cape Town’s world-famous V and A waterfront.

In the evening, we’ll host a befitting farewell dinner for you – where you will again savour the choicest of African dishes.
